1. Acceptance of terms
By using Mashro Alomr Platform, creating an account, or registering for any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform: the Mashro Alomr website, applications, and services.
- User: any person accessing the Platform, with or without an account.
- Learner: a User registered for courses or consultations.
- Instructor / Mentor: a person who provides content or consultations on the Platform.
- Content: videos, text, attachments, comments, and any material that appears on the Platform.
3. Account and registration
- You must be of legal capacity (18 years or older, or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian).
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for any activity on your account.
- Only one account per individual is permitted.
- The Platform reserves the right to refuse registration or suspend an account in accordance with these Terms.
4. Permitted use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for self-learning and professional development. This includes:
- Watching the courses recorded under your account on devices belonging to you.
- Downloading available attachments for personal use.
- Participating in discussions and reviews with original, appropriate content.
5. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Reselling, copying, or distributing Platform content without written consent.
- Sharing your account with others, or using another person's credentials.
- Attempting to breach the Platform or access its systems by unlawful means.
- Posting content that violates Saudi public order, morals, or laws.
- Harassing, threatening, or defaming any user.
- Using automated programs (bots) to interact with the Platform without authorization.
- Cheating or impersonation in assessments (see Academic Integrity Policy).
Any violation may result in immediate suspension without refund and without prejudice to the Platform's right to pursue legal remedies.
6. Payment and subscriptions
- Listed prices are inclusive of value-added tax (15%) unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is processed through licensed gateways (mada, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer).
- Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- A tax invoice is issued for every transaction in compliance with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements.
7. Refunds and cancellation
Courses
- Full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that course progress does not exceed 25%.
- Beyond that, refunds are granted only in exceptional cases at the discretion of the Quality team.
Consultations
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before the session: full refund or rescheduling.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the session: no refund; the session is counted as held.
- Cancellation by the mentor: full refund plus a goodwill credit.
8. Content and intellectual property
- All Platform content (courses, design, the trademark "Mashro Alomr™") is protected under intellectual property laws.
- Content rights belong to the Platform or to the rightful instructor, as per the agreement.
- Your own content (comments, capstone projects) remains yours; you grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display it within the service.
- Any IP infringement notice should be sent to legal@mashroalomr.com and will be addressed within 7 days.
9. Instructor and mentor terms
- Verification of qualifications and experience is required prior to joining (see Quality standards).
- Adherence to professional standards and ethics is mandatory.
- The financial arrangement is set out in a separate agreement (Platform share vs. operating costs).
- No advice requiring a professional license (specialized medical, legal, or financial) may be provided without a valid license.
10. Certificates
- Granted upon course completion and passing assessments with a minimum score of 70%.
- Each certificate carries a verification code which any external party may verify through the Platform.
- Certificates are issued by the Platform during the current phase, and do not substitute for official academic qualifications until NeLC accreditation is obtained and activated.
11. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is." We aim for the highest quality, but:
- We do not guarantee that using the content will result in any specific commercial or career outcome.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
- Maximum compensation in any case is the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
12. Account suspension
The Platform may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice in the event of:
- Breach of these Terms or any subsidiary policies.
- Abusive conduct toward staff or users.
- Fraud or misuse.
- Request from a competent regulatory authority.
13. Disputes and governing law
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- We aim to resolve any dispute amicably within 30 days.
- Failing that, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts of the Kingdom.
- The Saudi Commercial Arbitration system is available where the parties agree in writing.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms to keep pace with legal or service changes. Material updates will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
